Volunteering
All operations of our club are volunteer-driven: no one is a paid employee or receives honorariums. To keep things running, we require all families to pitch in and volunteer a minimum of six hours during the regular season. This ensures that the minimum level of duties for a proper game environment are handled each week.
There’s many other volunteer opportunities where people can help throughout the year to make the Hyacks Football Family experience and exceptional one for everyone involved – but especially for the kids! We are always on the lookout for more committed coaches who have a passion for the game and for making our football program a great experience for everyone involved – especially the kids. You don’t have to have been a football player or a coach before: the key ingredients to being a good coach are a willingness to learn, an ability to teach, and a dedication to being a positive influence in the lives of children.
If you’re interested in joining the coaching staff of any of our teams, please contact Vishal Dhir (info@hyackfootball.com ), our coaches coordinator, to arrange an interview. Our club is committed to ensuring that its coaches have the training, resources and support that they need to be successful, covering the full costs for all of this. All coaches must complete an annual criminal records check with their local police department.
